TRAIL WORK

UPDATE:::: THE TRAIL FROM CR136 (MCCONNELLS FARM) TO THE SAND PITS IN THERESA IS CURRENTLY CLOSED DUE TO A CULVERT WASHOUT, PLEASE PASS THE WORD!!! THERE IS NO WAY AROUND THIS SPOT NOW WITHOUT TAKING THE ROAD INTO TOWN::::::::::::

IRATV and TILT have done some major brush trimming along the trail from Philly to Theresa to Redwood and some towards LaFargeville with a Tractor and Boom mower. Big Thanks go out to the club members that were able to run the tractor the days we had it and the ones that helped this past Saturday clearing brush by hand.

We also repaired the major mud hole on the trail near English Settlement Rd with many dumptruck loads of shot rock and crafty work with an excavator ran by Joel Dindl. We also removed a bad bridge and replaced it with (2) 4' diameter x20' long culvert pipes back filled with stone to not only make the trail safer but now we're not limited to access to the trail with heavy equipment!! It was a joint effort and a lot of Thanks to Joel Dindl, Matt Hoover from Philly Fuels for the pipes and equipment and Brian Backus for the stone.

IRATV donated 16 big boxes of canned goods to a local food pantry Thanks in large part to all the registered riders of our 2013 Spring Poker Run and the Cape Vincent Correctional Officers Assoc.. Thank You from IRATV!!
